என்னை பொருத்தமட்டில் இன்றைய சூழலில் தமிழ் இணையத்தளங்களை விட தமிழர்களின் செய்திகளை தாங்கிய தமிழ் நெட் போன்ற ஆங்கிலசெய்தி இணையத்தளங்களே உருவாகவேண்டும்! தமிழர்களின் தேசிய பிரச்சனைகள் பற்றி வெளிசமுகத்துக்கு பொய்யான தகவல்களே போய் சேருகின்றது, உதாரணத்துக்கு மட்டக்கிளப்பு குயிலின்பனின் சம்பவத்தை Google News Alert கீழ் உள்ளவாறு தான் அனுப்பியது, இதில் இலங்கை செய்திகளை எனக்கு அனுப்புமாறு பதிவு செய்துள்ளேன்! இதைத்தான் இவர்கள் உலகத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்துபாகங்களுக்கும் அனுப்பியிருப்பார்கள்! இப்படியான பொய் பிரச்சாரத்தை முறியடிக்க தமிழ் நெட் போன்ற ஆங்கில இணையத்தளங்கள் அவசியம்!

Irate civilians chase away LTTE mob injuring a senior LTTE leader

Mar 29, Colombo: Irate civilians in the tsunami welfare center at Thirukkovil in Ampara have attacked a group of LTTE cadres yesterday morning, when LTTE cadres tried to abduct a child from the welfare center.
Military spokesman Brigadier Daya Ratnayake said that initially four LTTE cadres came to the welfare center and tried to abduct the child despite the parents’ protest. However when STF personnel on duty arrived, LTTE cadres have fled the scene.
Later in the evening about 40-50 LTTE men on motorbikes and vehicles stormed the center once again and tried to abduct another seventeen-year-old child. Their attempts were foiled when parents confronted and resisted them forcing the LTTE cadres to turn away.
Two policemen and three STF members received injuries when the LTTE attacked them. Due to the parents’ attack several LTTE cadres were injured including Ampara District LTTE political leader Kuiylamban who was admitted to the hospital.
