Two civilians and an LTTE political worker were wounded when unidentified persons lobbed a grenade at the Liberation Tigers' political office in Mannar town Saturday night around 7.45 PM. Mannar hospital sources said one person admitted to Hospital succumbed to wounds.
The office is located in the town's high security zone. Crowds gathered at the scene upon hearing the explosion.
The attackers got away, Police said.
