<span style='font-size:25pt;line-height:100%'>Norwegian meets LTTE in Batticaloa</span>
Norwegian Ambassador Hans Bratskar met LTTE's Batticaloa-Amparai district Commander yesterday 8th September in Batticaloa during an official visit to the East. The ambassador had discussion with LTTE's Batticaloa-Amparai Commander Col. Karuna, Special Commander Ramesh and military Commander Robert at Thenakam rest in Batticaloa.
During this discussion, which lasted for ninety minutes matters pertaining to the Muslims in the East, general welfare of those affected by war and modalities regarding development projects were discussed at length. Col. Karuna expressed his readiness to accommodate Muslim aspirations.
During this tour, the Norwegian ambassador had discussions with the Mr. Monagurusami Government Agent Batticaloa and the SLLM representatives.
