எனக்குத் தெரிந்த வகையில் boot disk இன் மூலம் உங்கள் கணணியை start பண்ணுங்கள். (boot disk இல்லாதவிடத்து இதைத் தரவிறக்கம் செய்து boot disk உருவாக்கிக் கொள்ளுங்கள். http://ephemeral-designs.com/downloads/boot98se.exe )
The safest way to do this is to do it from a DOS boot disk. Boot to the floppy (if you have one) and at the A:\ _type "format C:" (with out quotes) and hit enter. You will be told that all data on this volume will be lost...hit Y and enter......format will start and will take a while....it depends on the drive size. Once you are done you will have a drive formatted in fat32. You can now boot to your XP cdrom (remove floppy) and install XP. The XP setup will ask you if you want to keep the fat32 format or to format with ntfs...you can make the choice here to say yes or no. Ntfs is recommended for XP.
