The newest scam involves a fraudulent public web site that has assumed the identity of ‘RELEASE RAJARATNAM’. The bogus site claims to be soliciting support to release ‘Dinsesh Rajaratnam’. It is believed to be launched as a result of the Anti-Tamil elements in the diaspora community. The web site is not sanctioned by the family of Dinesh Rajaratnam. Unofficial website include a prompt seeks personal and e-mail information. Reliable sources are advising citizens to be aware of on-line campaigns such as this and to make sure that organizations soliciting to help victims of the recent events are legitimate.
