செச்சின் தீவிரவாதிகள் என்று சந்தேக்கிக்கப்படுபவர்களால் கடந்த புதன்கிழமை முதல் தென் ரஷ்சியாவில் பாடசாலை ஒன்றில் சிறைபிடிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த நூற்றுக்கணக்கான மாணவச் சிரார்களும் பெரியவர்களும் ரஷ்சிய நாட்டு கொமோண்டோக்களின் திடீர்த் தாக்குதல் மூலம் விடுவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக செய்திகள் தெருவிக்கின்றன..! இருந்தும் சில நூற்றுக்கணக்கான மாணவர்களும் பெரியவர்களும் காயங்களுடன் வைத்தியசாலைகளுக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்லப்பட்டிருக்கின்றனர்...சிலர் இறந்தும் உள்ளனர்...!
கடும் இரத்தம் சிந்திய இந்த சிறைப்பிடிப்பு நாடகத்தை நடத்திய தீவிரவாதிகளில் சிலரும் தப்பியோடி விட்டதாகவும் இன்னும் சிலர் கொமோண்டோக்களினால் சுட்டுக் கொல்லப்பட்டதாகவும் இன்னும் சிலர்--- பெண் தற்கொலைக் குண்டுதாரிகள் உட்பட --- தங்களைத் தாங்களே வெடிக்க வைத்து இறந்துள்ளதாகவும் செய்திகள் தெருவிக்கின்றன...! மேலும் தகவல்கள் தொடர்ந்து வந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன....!

Russian troops have stormed the school in North Ossetia, where hundreds of children and adults have been held hostage since Wednesday.
A Russian commander said Russian troops are nearly in full control, but since then, more heavy gunfire and a series of loud explosions have been heard.
Ambulances have been seen ferrying scores of casualties from the scene.
Several of the hostage takers were shot dead by troops as they tried to escape, Reuters reports.
Paramedics carrying stretchers have entered the school buildings.
The BBC's Sarah Rainsford said some 150 children have been taken to hospital.
A large number of people have been seen fleeing the premises, many of them covered in blood.
The BBC's Sarah Rainsford said a man inside the building had told her that an explosion had been heard inside the school and that as a result a wall had collapsed followed by gunfire. Many more explosions were heard after that.
It is unclear what caused the initial explosion.
It is believed there may be many more people left inside the building.
