[size=14]இன்று பாராளுமன்றம் கூடியபோது ஏற்பட்ட அமளி துமளி காரணமாக சபையின் நடவடிக்கைகள் சில நிமிடங்களுக்கு ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டன.

அமைச்சர் அனுரா பண்டாரநாயக்க ஆற்றிய உரையை அடுத்தே அவையில் அமளி துமளி ஏற்பட்டது.

விடுதலைப் புலிகள் அமைப்பிலிருந்து நீக்கப்பட்ட கருணாவை சிங்கப்புூருக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றதாக கூறிய, தமிழ்த் தேசியக் கூட்டமைப்பின் பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் எம்.கே.சிவாஜிலிங்கத்தின் கூற்றை மறுப்பதாக அனுரா பண்டாரநாயக்க தெரிவித்தார்.

அதில் எவ்வித உண்மையும் இல்லை என்றும், இதனால் தமது வாழ்க்கைக்கு அச்சுறுத்தல் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளதாக அவர் சுட்டிக்காட்டினார்.

அதனையடுத்து அனுரா பண்டாரநாயக்கவின் கூற்றுக்குப் பதிலளிக்க தமக்கு அவகாசம் அளிக்க வேண்டும் என உறுப்பினர் சிவாஜிலிங்கம் சபாநாயகரை கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

அதற்கு சபாநாயகர் அனுமதியளிக்க மறுத்ததையடுத்து சபை மத்திக்குச் சென்று சிவாஜிலிங்கம் எதிர்ப்புத் தெரிவித்தார்.

அதனையடுத்து அரசுத் தரப்பினருக்கும் எதிர்க்கட்சியினருக்கும் இடையில் கடும் வாக்குவாதம் ஏற்பட்டதையடுத்து பாராளுமன்ற அமர்வு [b]சில நிமிடங்களுக்கு ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டது.

Colombo 05 August: This is not Vanni, it is Parliament, reminded Anura Bandaranaike MP and a Government Minister in the floor of Sri Lanka's unicameral Parliament to S.Sivajilingham, a Jaffna district Tamil National Alliance Member of Parliament.< br>
Earlier Anura Bandaranaike spoke on a privilege motion and explained that he has nothing to do with Venayagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Colonel Karuna Amman, a renegade leader of the LTTE.

On 23 July, S. Sivajilingam, who took part in the adjournment motion debate in the Parliament on the spread of dengue in the country, made allegations against Anura Bandaranaike.

But it was noted that he strayed off the topic under discussion in the House to say that Anura Bandaranaike went to Singapore accompanying the LTTE renegade rebel leader Colonel Karuna Amman.

Sivajilingham said that he would like to request the President to ask Karuna Amman to remain in Singapore without returning to Sri Lanka.

At that time the TNA member made the allegation Anura Bandaranaike was away on an official mission to China.

Today Anura Bandaranaike took the first opportunity to deny the allegation in the floor of the House, made by Sivajilingham.

Once Anura Bandaranaike finished making his statement, TNA MP protested to the speaker and demanded that he wanted to make a counter statement to the one made by Anura Bandaranaike.

When the speaker Lokubandara declined to accede to the request of the TNA member, he went to the well of the house and protested against the ruling of the Speaker.

At that time, an unruly scene was witnessed an altercation between Sivajilingham and Mervyn Silva of the ruling party.

As the altercation turned into an unruly confrontation, Speaker adjourned the house for five minutes.

When the parliament reconvened Anura Bandaranaike reminded Sivajiling that this was not Vanni but Parliament.
