EPDP Leader talks to LTTEs renegade leader Karuna

Eelam Peoples Democratic Party (EPDP) Leader Douglas Devananda today spoke to LTTEs rebel Leader Muralitharan alias Karuna, where matters concerning Karunas possibility of entering politics was discussed at length. An EPDP spokesman said that former LTTE breakaway leader spoke to Mr. Devananda over the phone, seeking advice on how he can enter the democratic stream. The former militant leader is ready to give up his military career and he took the first move by contacting Mr. Devananda, the spokesman added.
