ISGA Proposals Would Have Created an Internal Conflict- Karuna
Bandula Jayasekara in Colombo, SLT 2.45 P.M Sunday 14 March. LTTE's rebel eastern commander, Karuna says had the Interim Self Governing Authority (ISGA) had been accepted there would have been possibilities of internal conflict based on discrimination. Karuna had said this in response to a question posed by The Sunday Island if he was supportive of the ISGA proposal of the Wanni administration. Karuna also says that they should have some kind of a unique proposal and there was a need for a unique proposal. Karuna also had denied that there is a split in the Tamil community. He has described the split as a split between the Wanni administration and the people living in the east.
