நட்சத்திரம் ஒன்றின் வெடிப்பு....இந்த வெடிப்பிற்கு முன்னதாக வெடிக்கும் நட்சத்திரம் அதன் அருகில் உள்ள துணை நட்சத்திரத்தில் இருந்து சூரியனைப் போல் பத்துமடங்குள்ள திணிவை உள்வாங்க முனைந்து அதன் பின் வெடித்துச் சிதறுகிறது..இதை 1993 இல் நடந்த ஒரு நட்சத்திர வெடிப்பை அவதானித்து விஞ்ஞானிகள் விபரித்துள்ளனர்.
