LTTE cadre, civilian killed in Claymore attack in Mannar

A cadre of Mannar Political Division of the LTTE, Jeyananthan, and a civilian identified as Vinoth, riding in a motorbike in LTTE controlled area at Valaiyankattu in Mullikkulam, 45 km south of Mannar town, were killed when a Claymore mine was exploded by Sri Lankan soldiers, LTTE sources in Mannar said. The attack took place around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The political cadre killed in the Claymore attack was a disabled cadre who had lost one of his legs, the sources added.
