At least 15 civilians were injured in Mannar when police used tear gas and attacked with battons to disperse people who had gathered to mark the 12th death annivarsary of Colonel Kittu and nine other senior LTTE members, sources said.
LTTE's Political wing head for Mannar, Mr. Iniavan and Pesalai citizen committee have lodged complaints with the Sri Lanka monitoring mission (SLMM).
