சவுத் டிரிபியுன் எனும் இணைய சஞ்சிகையே இவ்வாறு தெரிவித்துள்ளது. விடுதலைப் புலிகள் நர்கட்டியாகன்றி எனும் பகுதியில் பயிற்சி முகாமொன்றை நடத்துவதாகவும், மாவோ போராளிகளுக்கு தற்கொலை குண்டுத் தாக்குதல்களை எவ்வாறு மேற்கொள்வது என்ற பயிற்சியை அளித்து வருவதாகவும் இணைய சஞ்சிகை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இந்தப் படையணிகளுக்கு பெண்களும் இளைஞர்களும் சேர்த்துக் கொள்ளப்படுகின்றனர். அவர்கள் தம்முடன் சையனைட் வில்லைகளை வைத்திருக்கின்றனர் எனவும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மாவோ தலைவர் ஒருவருடன் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட நேர்காணலை அடிப்படையாக வைத்தே இந்த அறிக்கை வெளியாகியுள்ளது.

புதுடில்லிக்கு விஜயம் மேற்கொண்ட ஒரு மாவோ தலைவர் இதனை தெரிவித்ததாக குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மாவோ போராளிகளின் மூத்த தலைவர்களுள் ஒருவரான பாபுராம் பட்டார்ச்சார்யாவே புதுடில்லிக்கு விஜயம் மேற்கொண்டதாகவும் அவர் இந்திய, நேபாள அரசியல் தலைவர்களை சந்தித்ததாகவும் தெரிவிக்கப்படுகின்றது.

குறிப்பிட்ட சந்திப்பின் போது விடுதலைப் புலிகளின் விசேட பிரதிநிதியொருவரும் கலந்து கொண்டுள்ள இந்த இரகசிய சந்திப்பில், விடுதலைப் புலிகள் நேபாள மாவோ போராளிகளுக்கும் இந்திய மாவோக்களுக்கும் பயிற்சி அளிப்பது என தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்திய மாவோ விஸ்ட்டுகள் நேபாள மாவோ போராளிகளுக்கு அடைக்கலமும், பயிற்சியும் அளிப்பதெனவும் முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டதாகவும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

KATHMANDU: Sri Lanka"s Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) guerrilla group is providing military training to Nepal"s Maoist insurgents in India"s Bihar state near the Nepalese border, a media report has said.
In its Friday edition, the South Asia Tribune, an e-zine - magazine published on the Internet - from Washington said the Lankan rebels were teaching Nepalese outlaws to form human bomb squads for suicidal missions.
The Tigers are said to be running a training camp in Narkatiaganj and Ghorasahan in Bihar near Nepal"s border.
"Women and teenage boys and girls were being recruited for these squads. They also carry cyanide capsules with them," the report said. The report is said to be based on an interview taken in New Delhi with a Maoist leader.
Though the report did not name the leader, who was described as having come to the Indian capital from Purnea in Bihar, other media reports speculated whether it was Baburam Bhattarai, once the second-in-command of the Maoists, who visited New Delhi in May and met Indian politicians as well as Nepalese political leaders.
The LTTE, also known as Tamil Tigers, and prominent Indian separatist group United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) were present as special invitees.
The secret meeting reportedly decided the Tigers would provide full support to the Indian and Nepalese Maoists and Indian Maoists would provide shelter and training camps to Nepal"s Maoists.
"Tamil Tigers have formed four Human Bomb Dalams (squads) of women," the report said.
"Each dalam has 20 women. Similarly, 12 dalams of the suicidal squads have been formed. Each dalam has 40 young boys and girls. Indian and Nepalese Maoists are being jointly trained in this camp."
The report also says French trainers are providing training to Nepalese rebels in the Indian state of Uttaranchal, in districts like Tanakpur, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar.
The report also said the Maoist leader admitted that Nepal"s rebels had joined hands with the Indian outlaws to attack a police station and two state-owned banks in Bihar last month, in which at least 21 people were killed.

KOLKATA: Major security agencies in the country have sounded a red alert, concerned over reports that Maoist groups in Nepal and India have been receiving training from Sri Lanka's LTTE and some French ultras.

These agencies have alerted the Union Home ministry against possible suicide attacks by Maoists in different parts of the country.

“We cannot take these reports of LTTE and French training lightly and we have already sounded the red alert,'' a senior intelligence official said here on Sunday.

The report said LTTE experts had already trained as many as 12 Maoist suicide squads from both Nepal and India. Besides, several batches of Nepalese Maoists had received training from French trainers in Uttaranchal.

“We are yet to ascertain whether the Maoists of Nepal and India had received training from LTTE or French trainers in India or not. But we have positive information about links among the Maoists, their French counterparts and the LTTE,'' the official said.

He said the Maoists were able to establish a network corridor through India between Kathmandu, Jafna, Maharashtra and Bangladesh.

Besides UP, Uttaranchal, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and West Bengal, the Maoists had already set up bases in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Moreover, the police had recently recovered some documents relating to the activities of the French Maoists from a hideout in West Bengal.

“These are very serious matters and we have reasons to be worried even if a part of these reports about training turn out to be correct,'' the official said.

He said the most dangerous aspect of present day terrorism was suicide squad and no security agency in the world could evolve a foolproof arrangement to prevent human bombs or suicide missions.

“If the LTTE had trained 20 Maoist suicide squads each comprising 20 members, it would be a great threat to the security of both Nepal and India,'' he said.

The official felt that these suicide squads could pose a serious threat not only to the security installations but also to VVIPs and the VIPs, particularly in those states where the Maoists were active.

He said though the intelligence agencies were yet to receive any concrete evidence about funding for these training programmes, they suspected a portion of such funds were being organised by the international coordination committee of the Maoists, which had its headquarters in Belgium.

The intelligence agencies also suspected that a portion of these arms, ammunition and explosives were being supplied to the ultras in Nepal and India through Bangladesh, where about seven Maoist groups had been operating for quite some time, he added.

இந்தியாவில் பீகார் மாநிலத்திலும் இந்த ரகசிய பயிற்சி முகாம்கள் இருப்பதாக வாஷிங்டனில் இருந்து வெளியாகும் ஒரு பத்திகையில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

சிறுவர் சிறுமிகளையும் இந்த பயிற்சியில் அவர்கள் சேர்த்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள். சயனைடு மாத்திரைகளை எப்போதும் ரகசியமாக வைத்துக் கொள்ளவும் இவர்களுக்கு பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.

ஏற்கனவே அசாமில் உள்ள உல்பா தீவிரவாதிகளுக்கு விடுதலைப்புலிகள் பயிற்சி கொடுத்து வந்துள்ளனர்.

The leader of Nepal's Maoist rebels has called on the international community to help peace efforts in the kingdom.
Prachanda said he was ready to hold talks with the United Nations or others to promote peace and democracy.

His statement comes a day after UN envoy Lakhdar Brahimi arrived in Nepal to meet top leaders including the king.

The BBC's Charles Haviland in Kathmandu says the rebels backed UN mediation before and are trying to exploit a rift between King Gyanendra and politicians.

By reiterating their position now, the rebels have drawn attention to the government's continued rejection of such involvement, he says.

Patna : Bihar has denied a report that Sri Lanka's Tamil Tigers are providing military training to Nepal's Maoist insurgents in a northern district of the state bordering the kingdom.

A top police official said: "We have no such information and strongly feel that Nepal's Maoist insurgents are not being trained in the area near the Nepal border."

<b>The state administration was disturbed by a report in the Friday edition of South Asia Tribune, an ezine - magazine published on the Internet - from Washington that said the Lankan rebels were teaching Nepalese outlaws to form human bomb squads for suicidal missions.</b>

<b>The report claimed the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) was running training camps in Narkatiaganj and Ghorasahan in Bihar near the Nepal border.</b>

After a discussion with top police and intelligence officials, Governor Buta Singh said Monday that the state police had not come up with any such evidence so far.

Sources in the state home department told IANS here that the centre had also sought a report from Bihar in this connection.

Last month, alarmed by the biggest attack ever by Maoist guerrillas in Bihar, the state government urged the centre to take immediate steps to stop Maoist infiltration from Nepal. The state also asked New Delhi to beef up security along the 735-km stretch of the India-Nepal border in Bihar's northern districts.

More than 300 Maoist guerrillas, including dozens of women, had attacked the Madhuban bazaar in East Champaran district.
