இலங்கையில் நாய் குரைத்ததால் நாயின் உரிமையாளர்,மனைவி,மகள் கொலை

நாய்குரைத்ததால் ஆத்திரமடைந்து பக் கத்து வீட்டுக்காரர், அவ ரது மனைவி மற்றும் குழந்தையை அடித்துக் கொன்றார் ஒருவர்.

இலங்கையின் தென் பகுதியில் உள்ள கடலோர கிராமத்தில் ஒரு குடும்பத்தினர் தங்கள் வீட்டில் ஒரு நாய் வளர்த்து வந்தனர். அந்த வீட்டுக்கு பக்கத்து வீட்டில் வசிப்பவர் W. Janaka, 20. தெருவில் போகும் போது அவரை பார்த்து அந்த நாய் அடிக்கடி குரைப்பது வழக்கம்.

சம்பவத்தன்று அவர் குடி போதையில் தள்ளாடிய படியே தெருவில் வந்தார். இதைபார்த்ததும் நாய் குரைத்தது. குடிபோதையில் இருந்தவருக்கு ஆத்திரம் அதிகமானது.

அவர் தன் வீட்டுக்கு சென்று ஒரு இரும்பு தடியை எடுத்து வந்தார். தன்னை பார்த்து குரைத்த நாயின் உரிமையாளர் K.W. Diaris, 70, அவரது மனைவி Podi Menika, 65 மற்றும் மகளை D. Samyalata, 18 இரும்புத் தடியால் அடித்து கொன்று விட்டார்.

அந்த வீட்டில் இருந்த மேலும் 2 மகள்கள் ஓடி ஒளிந்து கொண்டதால் உயிர் பிழைத்துக் கொண்டனர். நாயும் பிழைத்துக்கொண்டது ................







<b>Barking dog provokes man to kill its owner's family in Sri Lanka</b>

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka -- A resident of Sri Lanka's southern coast was so enraged by his neighbors' constantly barking dog that he killed the husband, wife and one of their daughters with an iron rod, police said Tuesday.

Two other daughters escaped by hiding in the backyard. The dog also survived.

"The accused was drunk, and when he was passing by his neighbor's house, the dog barked at him and kept on barking," said Badureilya Police Sgt. Julian Mendis of Sunday's incident.

The accused, identified by police as W. Janaka, 20, went home, collected an iron rod and killed K.W. Diaris, 70, his wife Podi Menika, 65, and their daughter D. Samyalata, 18.

Janaka was arrested and will be charged with murder, police said. If convicted he could be hanged or spend rest of his life in prison.

The area is about 40 kilometers south of Colombo.

The Health Ministry says there is one dog for every seven humans in this island nation of 19 million people, far more than its target ratio of one dog to every 25 humans. (AP)
