வணக்கம்,
மன்னிக்கவும் for not writing my first post in Tamil.But the reason (for my urgency)is I came across this web site(www.tamilresearchandnews.com) and its articles(political) have been regularly seen in TamilNaatham.com.My concern is when I was reading the historical contents in the form of research papers I get reaaly get confused.The entire research done by the author clearly states that all of our gods are came from Buddha.Even the Lord Muruga whom we address as Tamil God.All the people who have served tamil and our religon are as buddhists,including Thirumular and Thiruvalluvar.
According to author our religion is (before thousand years ) Buddhism and we are classified as Tamil Buddhists.
This website is being run from Jaffna....
I need all the views about the contents of that site...(I'm really confused now)

பாரதி அனுதாபங்கள்,
யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில் உம்முடைய வருத்தத்திற்கு "மந்திகை" எனும் ஒரேயொரு வைத்தியசாலைதானுள்ளது.
அங்கு செல்லும், அவர்கள் நிச்சயம் உதவி செய்வார்கள். பின் எல்லாம் சரியாகிவிடும்.

Thanks for the advice...the reason I said I'm cofused is I have been involved in reading and compiling tamil history for a long time,this is the first time somebody from nowhere questions out history.But the way he writes would confuse us all.
If you have ever read his papers you would have known my state.He has even questioned lots of tamil professors's years of work.Only way to counter his argument is read his work and prove them wrong.
You don't have to give me the direction for a mental asylum.

Since the author challenges all the tamil professors and researchers who have dedicated their life in this field,I think more people should involve in this matter.

I dont know whether you knew our religion well or not. But I am strongly believe that either you are misguided or you are trying to put your believes on us. I am absolutely deny whatever you have read and it not true. As I said earlier, if you are really interest to know our culture, just read the tamil books (if you are a tamil) and find out what you want and dont waste you time on other foolish articles. :roll:
