இலட ஒரு சிங்கள வக்காடு முக்கிய எழுத்தாளராக இருப்பது தெரிந்த கதையே. இருக்க தடைகள் என்பது பெரும்பாலும் ஒரு அமைப்பை அடக்கி ஆளுவதற்கே பயன்படும். குறித்த அமைப்பு அதையும் தாண்டி வெற்றி பெற்றுவிட்டால் பிறகு தடை தானாகவே விலகிவிடும்.
இந்தியாவின் அணுப்பரிசோதனைக்கு அமெரிக்க பொருளாதாரத்தடை விதித்தது. ஆனால் இந்தியா தன் காலில் நின்று அமெரிக்காவின் தடையை உதாசீனம் செய்தது. கடைசில் அமெரிக்க தானாகவே தடையை விலக்கி கொண்டது. எனவே தடை என்பது ஒரு வித மிரட்டல்.
